On March 1, 2026, the Telehealth Center, the first remote healthcare center of a community hospital in Surin province, was opened. Dr. Keng Subanukan, director of Samrongtab Community Hospital in Surin province, Mr. Ratchapol Samanchit, district health officer of Samrongtab, as well as representatives from other local health clinics and hospitals, launched the remote medical system to serve patients with non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, and kidney disease.

to develop the telemedicine system, which allows patients to easily connect with online doctors via LINE messaging application and receive medical care and follow-up at home or at local health clinics or hospitals.
