On April 28, 2022, Professor Emeritus Kasem Wattanachai, M.D., Privy Councilor/Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for the Crown Prince Hospitals (Somdej Phra Yuparat Hospital), together with Admiral Pongthep Nuthep, Privy Councilor/Committee of the Foundation for the Crown Prince Hospitals and the inspection team visited Somdej Phra Yuparat Hospital for encouraging executives and personnel to perform their duties. Mr. Pirom Nilthaya, Yala governor, Wiset Sirintarasophon, MD, Provincial Public Health Office, Mr. Amorn Chumchuay, sheriff of Porn Yaha, Tinakorn Binhayiarong, M.D., Director of The Crown Prince Hospitals (Yaha branch) and heads of the provincial government, medical and public health personnel, and the Board of the Foundation for the Crown Prince Hospitals (Yaha Branch) welcomed. They are also visiting the development of Smart Hospital work to increase management efficiency and convenience and reduce personnel burden.

In this regard, the Crown Prince Hospitals (Yaha Branch) has exhibited the work of the health telemedicine system (Dietz NCDs Telemedicine) for chronic disease patients, which support by the National Innovation Agency. The system has been operated by the Precision Diet Co., Ltd. to support telemedicine services between the Crown Prince Hospitals (Yaha Branch) and the network of 11 local government hospitals. It allows patients to reduce the burden of traveling but can also monitor symptoms or health checks results such as blood sugar levels and blood pressure to adjust the treatment and effectively follow-up treatment results via telemedicine technology.
