On February 2, 2026, Dietz.asia
participated in the opening ceremony of a training project to promote health knowledge for monks in the urban area, held at the SiMR Building of the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital.

Monks, especially as they age, are prone to chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and high cholesterol. Therefore, promoting the health of monks in accordance with Buddhist teachings is necessary to reduce the risk of chronic diseases or to improve disease management. Siriraj Hospital provides medical care for more than 1,000 monks each year, with over 10,000 visits per year. There are more than 400 temples in Bangkok, with more than 10,000 monks.

Dietz has contributed to the development of a health care platform for monks in the urban area, through the LINE application “Monk มีสุข”. Monks can register, record personal health information, medication history, allergies, and learning materials that can be adjusted for each individual. They can also link data from health check-up stations, such as the Dietz Health Station, and wearable devices.

Buddha said, “Whoever wishes to visit me in the future must take care of the sick monks.” This means that providing nursing or treatment for sick monks is as meritorious as visiting the Buddha.
